More Mozart!

Here are two more Mozart illustrations that I did for the Core Knowledge Foundation. I'm learning to love working with watercolors and I hope to do some more illustration work in that medium.

Iroquois Runner

Its taken me all summer to post my illustration work, but here it is. This is another project that I did a couple of months ago for Core Knowledge Foundation. These are four of a series about an Iroquois runner. It was different working in watercolor, but I think now that I've practiced it a little more, I have come to like it again.

Here are some paintings from a project I did for the Core Knowledge Foundation this summer. The project was about the Pilgrims coming across on the Mayflower.

Its because I miss painting portraits.

This blog is for Nuh Nuh, my little sister, who says that I never post blogs. I've been working on illustration projects all summer, and as much as I love painting tiny images in unfamiliar mediums, I miss my portraits, which is why I am very excited to move back to Utah next week, where I will be portraiting once again. Hooray! Really though, illustration work is very fun and something I never thought I would do. Perhaps I may even post some of my summer labors later on when I am feeling more ambitious. Anyway, love to Nuh Nuh.

This painting of my friend, Rachel was part of my final BFA portrait show at BYU. I really appreciate the many many times my friends were also my models in college. Lucky for me, I have gorgeous friends.

I finished this painting a few months ago. My goal is to start painting in a more narrative style like this one.
